You take center stage in an all-new gameplay mode that was added for NBA 2K23. The content game franchise has announced that it will be releasing a new mode that will be called the Jordan Challenge. This mode will provide players with the opportunity to relive 15 of the most memorable moments from the illustrious career of Michael Jordan.

Players will be able to relive some of the most iconic moments in NBA history, such as Michael Jordan's game-winning shot in the 1982 NCAA championship game, his battles against the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons, and his stunning of the Utah Jazz with his final shot in a Chicago Bulls uniform during the 1998 NBA Finals. Players will also be able to relive some of the most iconic moments in NBA history, such as the first-ever NBA game, which was played in 1946. The entirety of this will occur while NBA 2K23 recreates the television broadcast style of the era in question.

Fans of NBA 2K have never seen anything quite like The Jordan Challenge, and it's clear to see why. This event is completely immersive. It reimagines the challenges that were featured in NBA 2K11 and adds five new moments to the overall package. When designing this game mode, our development team took into account every facet of it in order to give players a truly authentic and one-of-a-kind experience playing as Jordan. This was done so that players could enjoy a playable version of the game that was unlike any other. This includes the arenas, players, uniforms, broadcast, and play style that were prevalent during the time period in question.

In order to more accurately reflect the playing style of the NBA in the 1980s and 1990s in comparison to the playing style of the game today, this experience will include pregame interviews with key figures from the moments, as well as changes in gameplay.
